Fall Lookbook!!

Hey Preps!
Fall is finally near! October is creeping up on us and I am so excited! I have prepared some Autumn looks to share with y'all, so take a look!
For the first outfit, I paired my J.Crew cinch skirt in olive green with this darling gray and white striped sweater from Banana Republic. To accessorize, I added my navy blue J.Crew puffer vest, along with a House of Harlow necklace. With this outfit, the monogrammed boot socks look fabulous.

This outfit is definitely my favorite of this lookbook. I layered my gingham button down from J.Crew underneath my Vineyard Vines shep shirt. I think it makes the outfit extra fun. I also paired my Hunter boots with this outfit. As for jewelry, I wore my Kendra Scott Elisa pendant necklace, pearl earrings and my Lemon & Line knot bracelet and Kendra Scott bracelet.

This look is great while transitioning from Summer to Fall. I wore my gingham button down again, but layered my hot pink sweater from Nordstrom on top. I wore my Jack Rogers and the same jewelry from the previous look.

Lastly, I styled my gingham top again. I have to say, gingham button downs are definitely a Fall essential for any preppy gal. This time, I wore it with my J.Crew puffer vest, a pearl necklace from Francescas, and J.Crew socks with my Bean Boots from L.L.Bean. I really love this look! I think the necklace really pulls it together.

DIY Monogrammed Pillowcase and Blanket!!

Hey Preps!
Ever thought of personalizing your fabric items, but they don't work with stickers? Iron-on monograms are perfect for that! Here are two great ideas for where you can use your iron-on decals:

The first DIY is an adorable monogrammed pillowcase. Here is what you'll need:
You will need a pillowcase of your choice, (mine came with a set of sheets from Target) a monogrammed iron-on decal, (I totally recommend Alli Monograms. Her monograms are super cute, affordable and great quality. Be sure to use my coupon code "socutesoprep" for 10% off at checkout!) you'll also need a small cutout of parchment paper.
I am using a 3.5" royal blue, vine font monogram decal.
 1. Begin heating your iron. Be sure that you have set your iron on the cotton setting.
2. Place your monogram on your pillowcase. I wanted mine on the end, but you can put yours on the corner, in the middle, wherever you'd like.

3. Keep the clear plastic on the decal, and set your parchment paper over top.
4. Press the warmed iron on the decal with medium/firm pressure and hold for 10 seconds. Be sure not to slide the iron, it could wrinkle or crinkle your decal. Make sure the entire transfer is covered.
5. Gently peel the clear sheet off the monogram. If the monogram is still not stuck to your pillowcase, repeat Step 4 until the clear sheet will peel off.

6. Cover the decal with your parchment piece and iron again for 2-3 seconds.

Now you're done! Wait 24 hours before washing your pillowcase and don't use fabric softener. This pillowcase is perfect for sleepovers, movie nights and a great gift idea! Enjoy! If you want to try this DIY at home, check out allimonograms.com they have tons of choices for adorable iron-ons. Plus, the decals are very easy to use, last a longtime and look darling! Keep scrolling for the next DIY!

The second DIY is a monogrammed fleece blanket. Here is what you'll need:
You will need a blanket of your choice, (I went out and got a light fleece blanket from Target for $10. You will want a fleece one because the fuzzy, shaggy ones will not cooperate with the monogram.) an iron-on monogram, (I am using another 3.5" monogram from Alli Monograms in purple. My coupon code is featured in the DIY above and on the "Shop" page, here on the blog.) you will also need a small cutout of parchment paper. (The parchment paper is included with your iron-on purchase from Alli Monograms!!) Now, onto the blanket. You will follow the same steps for the iron-on monogram for your blanket as well.

 1. You will want to find where you are placing your monogram. I chose one of the corners, but it would be so cute if you got a bigger monogram and put it in the middle!

2. Place your parchment paper over the monogram and hold the iron on for 10 seconds. If it still doesn't stick, repeat this step. Because of the blanket material, the iron might make some marks, but if you rub your fingers over the marks, the fleece will go back to normal instead of being so flat.
3. Peel off the clear plastic, lay your parchment paper on top and iron for 2-3 seconds.

Now, you're done! This blanket/pillow duo is perfect for sleepovers. While we are talking about what is perfect for sleepovers, charger wraps are great! Me and my friends have them, and we never have to worry about taking someone else's charger home or getting them mixed up! The pillowcase and blanket look great together and will definitely be useful this Winter! This DIY is super easy to do, and Alli Monograms is definitely a reputable source for high-quality monograms. Go get yourself some with 10% off using my discount code "socutesoprep" Also, if you want to add a bit of sass to your blanket or pillow, she sells glitter iron-on monograms as well!

How to Style Lilly Through Each Season!!

Hey Preps!
I recently received my package from the Lilly Afterparty Sale! I am so excited to be sharing with you how to style a Lilly top for each season. The Lilly shirt featured in this post is called the Iona Silk Shell. It is super adorable and one of my absolute favorites. Here is how you can get the most wear out of your Lilly:
For the Summer months, this top is super easy to style. I paired it with a nice pair of light green shorts from Gap. I threw on my blue Jack Rogers and my everyday jewelry- Kendra Scott necklace, pearl earrings and some bracelets. The bracelets featured in the below photo are Alex & Ani and Lemon & Line.
As the weather starts to cool down, jeans are a great option for Fall. This top is perfect for Summer, who knew it is adorable in Fall too!? I picked out a classic pair of jeans from Gap for this look. I also thought it would look nice paired with my brown Jack Roger booties! I love this outfit and I think it will look great in these upcoming months. I wore the same jewelry for this season as well.

Winter is definitely colder than Fall. That's why I wore the same outfit as Autumn paired with a heavy, white cardigan. This look definitely brings a bright pop of color into these merry months.
Spring Fever! This outfit is perfect for the Spring. This definitely is perfect for transitioning from the snowy months. I paired the Iona Silk Shell with a bright pair of white jeans from Gap. I'd definitely recommend any jeans from Gap. They seem to fit very well. I wore this look with my Jack Rogers Lauren Sandals. This double-strapped duo is perfect for the Springtime. Mine are in the gold/cork color and look great with any outfit. I paired my everyday jewelry with this look as well, but you can always mix it up with some dangly earrings or no jewelry at all!
I love this top so much and I'm excited to wear it year-round! Hope this gave you some ideas on how to style your Lilly or other tops yearly!
