Closet Organization!!

Hey Preps!
I recently rearranged my closet and thought I would show you how I keep it organized! Enjoy!
First, here is an "overview" of what my closest looks like when you first open the doors. I have my shoes at the bottom, clothes hanging up and some purses on a few shelves and a rack.

On the back of the door I have a few everyday purses that I use more often, not including the purse I am using currently. I just keep a few cross body purses and little wristlets hanging here. Also on this rack I include my monogrammed hat from Pinky Girl Monograms. This purse rack was actually on the closet door when we first moved in and was originally a neck tie rack, but it works perfectly for purses. I am sure you could find a similar one at Target.
Next, right in the middle I have my clothes. I have organized them in rainbow order to keep it easier for picking outfits.
While still on the clothing topic, I have my skirts and shorts separated on the right, dresses in the middle and shirts on the left. Next to my shirts, I keep spare hangers for any additions to my wardrobe!
To the right of my clothes, I keep my school uniform set aside until the school year.
On the floor of my closet I keep my shoes. It changes for each season (*Winter and Fall: boots* Can't wait to bring my Bean Boots out again! *Spring and Summer: sandals* Soon will have to be packed away. :((( ) but this is what I have out right now.
To the left of my shoes, I have some tote bags kept in the box and Lilly bag.
To the right of my shoes I have some shelves with larger purses and backpacks that I usually use while traveling on vacation.
This is how I organize my closet. I'd love to see how you organize yours! If you post any pictures please tag me @socutesoprep !

What's in my Backpack!!

Hey Preps!
I am so excited to be doing this post because I have seen many YouTubers and other bloggers do this one, and I thought it would be a lot of fun. I hope you enjoy my "What's in my Backpack" post!

This school year I got Madeline & Company backpack. For the past few years I have used a Vera Bradley and Scout bag. I got the Navy with Pink and Gold bag.

The first thing in my backpack is a pink canvas pencil pouch from Target. It is the perfect size and it fits everything so well. It came with a smaller one attached, but that will be shown later.

Inside the pencil pouch, I have black, blue and red pens from BIC, mechanical pencils from BIC, Papermate InkJoy colored pens and highlighters from BIC. (Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored by BIC, although I do love their supplies.)

The next thing in my backpack is definitely my favorite. I have my large Lilly Pulitzer agenda in the print Ocean Jewels. On the front I added my monogram in turquoise from Alli Monograms. (use my coupon code "socutesoprep" on allimonograms.com for 10% off!) I love this planner so much, and it is perfect for school.

Behind my planner, I have three notebooks. I have yet to find out how many I need, but I started out with just three. The first notebook is a Five Star purple notebook that I covered with preppy stickers such as Patagonia, Jadelynn Brooke, IvoryElla, Southern Tide, Simply Southern, Sperry and Southern Girl Prep.

The next notebook is Five Star as well. It is navy blue and I added a touch of gold by using a personalized, gold name sticker from Alli Monograms.

My third notebook is Five Star again and is purple. It has a little diamond pattern on it, so I didn't add any stickers to that one.

Lastly, I have my bright pink binder from Staples. Soon I will add a May Designs printout to the cover. I use these types of binders every year and they last the entire school year.

Inside my binder, I have the mini version of my pencil pouch (from Target) clipped to the rings.

I keep these little Post-It sticky flags to use for annotating and with my planner inside.

Behind the pouch, I keep this pink and rose gold 6-pocket organizer folder by the brand Studio C. I got it at Staples in the folder section.

Lastly, I have a whole bunch of loose-leaf paper from Staples.

I am so excited to use my Madeline and Company bag this upcoming school year! I hope you enjoyed my "What's in my Backpack post, and I hope that I helped give you ideas for what supplies to get or how to decorate notebooks. Check back later for more Back to School posts!

Lilly After-Party Sale!!

Hey Preps!
I have been waiting and waiting patiently for the Lilly Pulitzer After-Party sale to roll around. The date is still to be announced, but I am so excited! Here's what I am hoping to find:

- a great pair of shorts or pants

- a skirt!!! (I don't have any Lilly skirts so this is definitely the main thing I am looking for.)

- popover or zip up sweatshirt

- this two piece set (I saw this on @kirstentrimmer 's Instagram and have wanted it ever since but have been hoping for it to go on sale!)
These are the main things I am looking for, but I will be happy with anything in my size!! Good luck at the sale and happy shopping!
